Ananda Kanan Ozark Retreat Center

If you are in search of a little R&R and want to escape for a little while…

Consider booking a retreat at the Ananda Kanan (The Garden of Bliss) Ozark Retreat Center in Willow Springs, Missouri. Located in the heart of the Southern Missouri Ozarks, the Center is owned and operated by Ananda Marga, known internationally for her work in the field of yoga and social services. The Center has been in use for over 30 years assisting guests in finding balance in their day-to-day lives.

Close your eyes, take a deep breath and imagine walking the trails through woods or gently gliding across the pond in your canoe as you tune into nature sounds around you. Listen to the water as it trickles through the fountains in the garden or spend a morning in yoga class or silent meditation. While you are at it, take advantage of the stress-reducing massages performed by the onsite massage therapist and finish your day off with a relaxing session in the heated sauna.

The staff at the Center work hard to meet the needs of their guests.

The main goal of each staff member is to provide an environment that is conducive to the personal and spiritual development of the guests. While visiting guests can work toward finding their center by taking part in a multitude of yoga and meditation classes and well as those that focus on health and art.

There are a number of workshop opportunities throughout the year in which guests can participate. Workshops include, but are not limited to a weeklong Winter Retreat lead by Ananda Marga, A summer conference that features mediation and Ashtanga yoga practice, the Spread Your Wings meditation retreat in the fall and a variety of opportunities that allow you to explore and discover all that the Center has to offer.

Cabins on the grounds run approximately $100 a night, with discounted options available for those who chose to book a longer stay. The cabins include bedding, towels and a kitchen that is equipped with a kitchen, fridge, and range.
